About The Role
Elite Building Services is looking to hire a hands‑on Lead Cleaner in the Wilmington, DE area. Candidates must possess organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Candidates should be able to clean and lead the team simultaneously.
LocationLinden Hill Road, Wilmington, DE
Responsibilities- Be the team lead for a crew of cleaners to ensure the entire scope of work is being completed.
- Clean designated areas.
- Ensure supplies are well stocked for cleaners to use.
- Check all dispensers each night to be sure they are properly filled.
- Communicate regularly with the Operations Manager for Elite.
- Ensure each employee clocks in and out properly each night.
- Handle all call‑outs and arrange to cover all responsibilities.
$18.00 per hour
Hours / Days of OperationMonday through Friday, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Occasional weekends as needed.
Role Requirements- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Janitorial experience is a plus (Not required).
- Floorcare experience & Floorcare machine knowledge a plus (Not required).
- General commercial cleaning experience a plus (Not required).
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift 20+ pounds regularly every day.
- Bend, stretch, stand, twist, reach, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
- Climb stairs and ladders.
