JOB SUMMARY – Repair Support Associate

As the Repair Support Associate, you will play a critical role in preparing firefighter PPE garments for repair. This position is responsible for opening seams, removing damaged components, and readying gear for Sewing Machine Operators to complete high-quality repairs. You can help save lives.

Position Details
  • Location:

    9 Germay Drive Suite 200A, Wilmington, Delaware, 19804
  • Hours:

    Monday to Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. Must be flexible and willing to work overtime when needed to meet client needs.
  • Reports to:

    Assistant Manager
  • Starting Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Essential Functions
  • Prepare garments for repair by opening seams using approved tools and methods.
  • Remove damaged components such as trim, patches, or reinforcements.
  • Accurately label, organize, and stage items for next steps in the repair workflow.
  • Follow repair notes and instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Communicate effectively with team members.
  • Assist with other production tasks as assigned.
Education & Experience Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of garment construction or experience with alterations considered a huge asset.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and strong attention to details.
  • Good attendance record.
  • Must be able to follow instructions consistently with minimum supervision.
  • Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work well with a team.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to meet productivity goals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Follow all company policies and safety guidelines.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing, sitting, walking, bending as needed.
  • Using proper lifting technique may be required to lift objects up to 30 lbs.
