Location:

Nemours Children's Facility – 1600 Rockland Road, Wilmington, DE 19803.

Schedule:

Full‑time. 7:00 am–3:30 pm and 3:00 pm–11:30 pm. Hours and days may vary, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Pay: $17.50–$19.00 per hour.

Floor Technician responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor‑care equipment.

• Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and apply proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor‑care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment to clean large floor areas.
• Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp cleaning, extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Prior floor‑care experience required; at least three years preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor‑care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
