As a Boiler Operator you will:

* Operate boiler and chiller plant systems and operating machinery according to specified parameters.

* Perform routine tests on boiler water and chill water systems and treats those systems chemically to maintain specific standards.

* Perform preventative maintenance and repair maintenance on boiler and chiller plant machinery.

* Respond to boiler and chiller plant emergencies according to operating instructions.

* Conduct cleaning of plant spaces, equipment, and piping.

* Report to Chief Boiler Operator.

* Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

* High School graduate

* Completion of an approved course in high pressure steam boiler operations.

* Current Fireman License with the City of Wilmington
