Position Title

Compensation$42,935 - $45,113 (Recruitment Range)
Final salary offers will be determined by the candidate's education, relevant experience, internal equity alignment, and departmental budgetary parameters.

- Analyze work demands to adequately maintain our facilities and provide optimum customer service and satisfaction.
- Perform maintenance for all housing and residence life buildings.
- Recommend work order requests to the physical plant for major items of repair in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and lock issues.
- Work with the Assistant Director of Facility Operations to ensure maintenance supplies are stocked to meet daily needs and requirements.
- Report daily to supervisor on the condition of facilities and work being done; on the progress of special projects and the number of daily maintenance requests that are being completed.
- May work in Housing and Residence Life Warehouse as needed.
Graduation from high school or equivalent. Experience in the trade(s) areas related to the position's role may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Education, Professional Skills, and Experience- Thorough knowledge of methods used in building maintenance, repair, and renovation.
- Ability to follow plans and schedules to meet deadlines and reach desired results.
- Ability to collaborate with residence life staff, physical plant staff, contract housekeeping staff, and outside contractors on related issues and projects.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency using computers and iPads and various software systems.
- Strong customer service skills.
