Description of Work To clean and maintain various types of floor surfaces for all buildings on Cherry Hospital campus and other specialized projects.

Floor Maintenance Assistant assigned to a special unit within the Environmental Services Department called the Mobile Crew. This crew specializes in floor care and reports to the Floor Maintenance Supervisor I.Knowledge

Skills and Abilities

/Management Preferences To clean and maintain tile and Terrazzo floors; cleans and maintains carpeted surfaces to maintain a high-level of sanitation and an attractive environment. Operates stripper, buffer, window-washer, etc. used by floor maintenance.maintenance.

Job Description:

Salary Range: $31,200 - $48,810

The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:

Working knowledge of floor care and cleaning.

Skill in the use and care of floor maintenance equipment.

Ability to follow instructions.

Ability to follow procedural directions in the use of cleaning products.

Physical requirements:

Walking, standing for long periods of time, bending, stooping and lifting up to 50 pounds

This Position Is Designated as Mandatory and Must Report or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events.
