Job Description

Summary:

Provides high levels of cleanliness, quality, and service to patients, families and customers.

• Cleans and services patient care areas, offices, lobbies, bathrooms or other areas as assigned.
• Demonstrates knowledge of 10 Step Cleaning Process and appropriate chemical use to meet department standards.
• Performs routine cleaning and coordinates with management to address and resolve facility maintenance, service issues and other concerns.
• Practices proper methods of Infection Control in conjunction with cleaning procedures. Maintains proper use and knowledge of PPE and door precautions.
• Maintains closet, housekeeping cart and cleaning equipment in clean, orderly and good working condition.
• Maintains department's standards of practice as evidenced by quality control inspections and customer feedback.

• High School graduate or equivalent, required.

• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Demonstrate high degree of proficiency in the 10 Step Cleaning Process.
• Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Displays positive customer service skills and promotes a team atmosphere.

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferred.

• OCCASIONALLY:
  Climb stairs/ladder, Hot Temperatures, Lifting / Carrying: 21-40 lbs, Lifting / Carrying: 41-60 lbs, Pushing / Pulling: 100 lbs or greater with assistance, Pushing / Pulling: 41-60 lbs, Pushing / Pulling: 61-100 lbs, Sitting, Squat/kneel, Working Outdoors
