Delivery Technician:
The position will be responsible for the transport and delivery of all lottery equipment to the various site locations within the State of Ohio, for Columbus region. This position will also complete service

calls at a lottery retail location as assigned.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Job Level Description

Accountable for all or significant portion of a function.

Job Duties

• Responsible for the delivery and removal/restocking of all lottery equipment to the site locations within the region.
• Performs vehicle management functions as set forth in the motor vehicle policy.
• Assists in functions including installation, terminal removal, communication and peripheral procedures.
• Responsible to maintain and secure all assigned tools, test equipment, terminals, parts and supplies prior to leaving site location.
• Ability to respond and close all service calls as assigned.
• Ability to understand and use Smart Services.
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills/

Qualifications:

• An understanding of, and experience with, troubleshooting computer software and hardware technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
• Promptly respond to customer/leadership requests and feedback.
• Proven self-starter with motivation and ability.
• Organization and time management skills that enable effective multitasking.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings as needed.
• Available to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift, install and move large self-service equipment (regularly lift or move 35 pounds or more).
• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Pass a background check, drug test, and have a clean driving record.
• Regular travel to customer locations for on-site work.
• Ability to drive a non-CDL delivery truck.
• Pass background check, DOT certification and drug test.

Education

Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.

Related Experience

• One year computer software/hardware troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred
• 1 year or more experience driving a box truck preferred.
