As a GSE Work Control employee, you'll play an important role in keeping our Ground Support Equipment (GSE) operation running smoothly. You'll work closely with technicians, supervisors, vendors, and customers to make sure equipment records are accurate, maintenance is properly documented, work is scheduled, and everyone has the information they need.
This isn't a typical desk job. You'll be working alongside a maintenance team in an active airport environment, gaining exposure to aircraft ground support equipment, fleet maintenance, preventative maintenance programs, parts, vendors, and day-to-day aviation operations.
What You'll Do
- Keep the operation organized by maintaining accurate equipment records, work orders, service histories, and maintenance documentation.
- Manage work orders from start to finish, including creating, tracking, updating, and closing work orders.
- Help keep equipment ready to work by assisting with preventative maintenance (PMI) and repair scheduling.
- Work directly with technicians and supervisors to ensure completed maintenance is accurately documented, and equipment status is up to date.
- Track equipment availability, including units in service, out of service, awaiting repair, or ready for use.
- Turn information into useful reports by helping track equipment performance, downtime, maintenance activity, and trends.
- Support parts and purchasing activities, including parts ordering, inventory tracking, and communication with vendors.
- Help keep customers informed by communicating equipment status, maintenance updates, and other important information.
- Support billing and invoicing through accurate data entry and documentation.
- Maintain organized digital and physical files and records.
- Help ensure maintenance activities are completed in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Take on additional administrative and operational projects that help the GSE team work more efficiently.

We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable communicating with different types of people, and able to keep track of multiple priorities at once.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree is a plus.
- 1–3 years of administrative, coordination, fleet, maintenance, or operations experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with a maintenance management system is a plus;
Service Channel or EBIS experience is highly desirable. - Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.

Your Work Environment
You'll be based in an active airport maintenance operation, working alongside the people responsible for keeping critical ground support equipment safe, reliable, and available.
You'll spend most of your time in an office environment, but you'll also have regular interaction with technicians, supervisors, equipment, and shop operations. You should be comfortable working around an active maintenance shop and occasionally entering shop areas.
