Customer Service​/Security

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for being the primary contact for A.R. Wilson Quarry and Road Materials customers upon entering the Quarry and overall safety and security of Wilson Quarry Property while working in alignment with Graniterock’s Strategic Priorities and business objectives.

• Comply, understand, and promote safety initiatives to ensure “Safety Before All Else.”
• Assist incoming customers/truck drivers in locating dumping locations of recycle materials and pick up locations of aggregates and road materials for efficient gate times.
• Provide site security and traffic control for Quarry property to ensure safety of all visitors.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents within designated areas promptly and according to policy.
• Install RF readers on customer trucks and provide automated load-out training for drivers.
• Communicate and work closely with Weigh masters, Sales, Secondary, and Road Materials teams to ensure visitors are processed through the quarry in an efficient manner.
• Assist customer drivers with loading procedures (Key Loading) and the GX2 System, ticketing and traffic control. Maintain ticketing systems and be a resource for any automated loadout issues

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some construction industry experience; familiarity with working around heavy equipment and machinery
• Prior experience working in a Quarry environment a plus

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Basic math and computer
• Safety awareness
• Ability to follow detailed procedures while working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Must have valid CA Driver's License and clean driving record
• Ability to work various shifts day and graveyard

Salary will be determined based on the individual’s knowledge, skills and experience. Ranges are aligned with market data and/or collective bargaining agreement rates.
