Custodian – Wilsonville, Oregon

- Keep spaces spotless – sweep, mop, vacuum, and detail clean hard floors and carpets.
- Maintain restrooms and kitchens – sanitize, restock, and ensure facilities are ready for use.
- General upkeep – empty trash, dust, wash windows and walls, clean stairwells, and keep common areas tidy.
- Support building operations – replace light bulbs, remove recyclables, keep loading docks clean, and report maintenance issues.
- Respond to emergencies – clean up spills, support weather‑related work, and handle urgent tenant requests.
- Standing and walking on concrete, tile, and carpeted surfaces for the entire shift.
- Repetitive lifting, pushing, and pulling of custodial equipment such as trash containers and vacuum cleaners (up to 50 pounds).
- Repetitive bending, reaching, twisting, occasional climbing on a ladder, and short periods of heavy physical activity.
- May require outside work during inclement weather and use of chemicals for sanitation.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Minimum 4 months of custodial experience that included operating equipment needed to perform custodial duties.
- Ability to push/pull heavy custodial equipment (and lift up to 50 pounds), crouch, stoop, bend, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time (90% of the work shift).
- Oregon driver’s license Class C and an acceptable driving record.
- Proven work history of reliability, consistent attendance, and strong work ethic.
- Experience organizing daily tasks, setting priorities, and finishing work on schedule.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate respectfully and provide quality service to employees, tenants, and visitors.
- Demonstrated ability to spot problems, take initiative, and find solutions.
- Experience using hand tools, custodial equipment, cleaning agents, and ladders safely.
- Ability to check buildings for cleanliness and service needs, report problems, and work with others to finish tasks.
- Ability to work cooperatively with a team to reach shared goals.
