As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be a vital part of our high‑performing team, ensuring that our equipment and systems operate efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with cGMP standards.
What You’ll Do- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including motors, pumps, valve manifolds, chillers, compressors, HVAC, boilers, and more.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance and minimize downtime through preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Document all work, PM records, and system logs accurately.
- Recommend improvements to systems and equipment to boost efficiency, safety, and reliability.
- Maintain a cGMP‑compliant workspace and uphold all safety protocols.
- Perform hands‑on tasks such as rebuilding pump seals, centrifuges, and pellet mills.
- Follow LOTO procedures independently for all maintenance work.
- Train and mentor new or developing Maintenance Technicians.
- Participate in validation, qualification, and housekeeping audits.
- Follow all company maintenance policies and procedures consistently.
- Be able to lift over 50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and perform physical tasks such as crouching, kneeling, reaching overhead, and climbing ladders or stairs.
- Wear required PPE and operate safely around noise, dust, and mechanical systems.
- Hear alarms and distinguish speech in a production environment.
- Have good near/distance/peripheral vision for task safety.
- 2+ years industrial or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Mechanically inclined and detail oriented.
- Knowledge of LOTO and cGMP a plus.
- Strong time management, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and CMMS systems.
- Ability to work 12‑hour shifts (days/nights), including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Some travel may be required between Danimer sites for training.
- Start‑up flexibility required with availability.
- Full‑time, 10‑12‑hour shifts; mostly every other weekend off.
- Frequent exposure to hot/cold temperatures, airborne particles, loud noise, and moving mechanical parts. Some desk‑based tasks in shared air‑conditioned maintenance office.
