Qualifications:
- High school graduate/GED or equivalent experience and training providing the required knowledge, skill, and abilities.
- Ability to plan and supervise the work of others; prior experience as head custodian or other leadership role in a cleaning/housekeeping operation preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Considerable janitorial and grounds maintenance experience; experience as a semi‑skilled handyman preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment and ability to use them economically and efficiently; ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions, and ability to get along well with others.
Custodian Salary Scale (credit is based on years of full‑time experience in a related position)
