Custodial Training Teamlead Winchester, VA

Shenandoah University’s Department of Custodial Services is accepting applications for a Custodial training Team Lead. This is a full‑time, benefited position located on our main campusin Winchester, VA.

This position will serve as a mentor for new Custodian hires for their first few weeks at SU, provide additional training to current employees (with a working knowledge of SU cleaning standards) and mentor coworkers as needed.

Team leads will create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture with their group. Team leads will set clear team goals - Leads will work with new hires to train them on SU cleaning standards and current employees to ensure their operating at SU standards, they will provide feedback to their teams and update management as needed. Also leads will deliver supplies and cover buildings when custodians are absent.
