Job Description

Summary of Duties: General cleaning and minor maintenance in all areas of the building and grounds including scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, buffing, snow removal, grass mowing, and hedge trimming. Position involves moving furniture, supplies, and equipment. Other duties as assigned by the school's principal or designee.

Qualifications:

• Experience in custodial or related field.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, equipment, and chemicals.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively use machines/equipment for routine cleaning and maintenance.
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Possess a valid driver's license.

Salary: Range for  is $17.51 to $26.97 per hour.

Workday: Full-Time, 260 days, 8 hours a day - alternating hours.

Location: Winchester Public Schools - Division-Wide.

Start Date: July 1, 2026.
