Maintenance Technician

Facilities Maintenance Worker

Assists with routine plumbing repairs

Assists with routine electric repairs

Assists with routine carpentry repairs

Assists with routine HVAC (heating ventilation air conditioning) repairs

Maintain parking lots, streets & sidewalks during winter/weather events (including 12 hour shifts possibly nights, weekends & holidays)

Special events (i.e. Loudoun Street Mall & Shenandoah Valley Apple Blossom Festival)

Perform exceptional external & internal customer service to the citizens of Winchester & fellow employees

Ensures equipment, tools and supplies are properly cleaned, stored, and secured

Responsible for sweeping, blowing parking lots, Loudoun Mall and sidewalks when needed

Assist in other areas of facilities maintenance (including parking authority) as needed

Responsible for taking FM phone and being on-call nights and weekends as assigned

Education and/or experience:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required with some experience in construction/maintenance activities as related to buildings and grounds.

Certificates, licenses, registrations:
Possession of a valid and appropriate driver's license.
