The Janitorial Agent is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safety throughout airport facilities, including terminals, restrooms, gate areas, offices, and public spaces. This role ensures a clean and welcoming environment for passengers, airport staff, and visitors while adhering to airport safety, security, and sanitation standards.

• Clean and sanitize airport terminal areas, including restrooms, seating areas, gates, hallways, and public spaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout assigned areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Replenish restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and tissue.
• Clean spills and respond promptly to cleanliness or safety hazards.
• Maintain cleanliness of high‑touch surfaces such as handrails, counters, and door handles.
• Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards or facility concerns to supervisors.
• Support deep cleaning tasks as scheduled or assigned.
• Follow all airport safety, security, and company policies.
• Assist with cleaning support during high‑traffic periods or special events.
• Maintain professionalism while working in passenger‑facing environments.
• Perform other duties as requested.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced and physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Must have reliable telephone and transportation.
• Airport terminals, restrooms, gate areas, and public spaces.
• Exposure to high‑traffic areas and frequent passenger interaction.
• Fast‑paced environment requiring continuous cleaning and upkeep.
• May include indoor and occasional outdoor assignments.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions and high‑traffic areas.
• Must be able to take verbally directed instructions in English.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• Must pass pre‑employment and random drug tests.
• Must pass a pre‑employment background check.
• Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security‑sensitive identification badge.
• Must be in proper uniform or business attire as directed by company officials.
• Identification badges must always be visible.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in achievement of company objectives.
