SummaryThe Evening Float Custodian does not have a permanent assigned location. This role requires nightly travel and deployment between various school sites to provide operational coverage based on the district's needs. Responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and disinfecting all areas of a facility. Perform basic cleaning, sanitation, and minor maintenance of an assigned building and associated grounds, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, trash removal, etc.
Supervise evening custodial staff and secure the facility at all times to ensure a safe school and working environment. Provide high-level customer service for school events and community activities, including set-up/clean-up.
This position includes opportunities that provide broad exposure to district operations, including cross‑training across all school facilities, logistical support through shop inventory and product deliveries, and the development of leadership skills by assisting with staff training.
