In this dynamic full-time position running from August 26, 2026, to June 11, 2027, you'll have the unique chance to work across elementary, middle, and high school settings, engaging in cross-disciplinary leadership and professional growth. Expanding your resume has never been more rewarding-develop your skills in functional behavioral assessments, re-evaluations, and supporting diverse learner needs across ages and settings. Experience firsthand the various philosophies and collaborative practices shaping education today, while making a tangible difference.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Active Illinois (IL) School Psychologist license required
- Professional communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of special education law and best practices
- Experience with preschool, elementary, and adolescent populations desirable
- Commitment to clear and compassionate family communication
- Conduct re-evaluation reviews, eligibility meetings, and functional behavioral assessments
- Support initial evaluations as assigned
- Deliver screenings and assessments for early childhood (traveling between multiple preschools as needed)
- Facilitate IEP meetings and MTSS data team discussions
- Advise and collaborate with families, general and special education staff
