Special Education Teacher

Blazer Jobs is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers for three full-time openings in Winnetka, IL for the  school year. • School Year: August 27, 2026 - June 11, 2027
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
• Hours: 35 hours per week
• Setting: Elementary (Grades K-4)
• Model: Resource classroom with both pull-out direct instruction and push-in support in general education classrooms
• Caseload: 8-12 students
• Openings: 3
• Onsite Only

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education endorsement, or
• Hold a comparable out-of-state teaching license and be eligible to obtain an Illinois PEL through the ISBE Educator Licensure Information System (ELIS)
• Orton-Gillingham training or certification (SLANT, Wilson, Sonday, or similar) is preferred
