Role

Details:
  • Full-time travel assignment, Monday through Friday
  • Openings for both early childhood (0.6 FTE, 3 days/week) and K12 settings (1.0 FTE, 5 days/week)
  • Focus on re-evaluation review, eligibility meetings, functional behavioral assessments, initial evaluations, and IEP participation
Qualifications:
  • Current School Psychologist license in the State of Illinois
  • Experience working with early childhood and/or K-12 populations
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Solid understanding of special education law and best practices in evaluations
  • Ability to travel between preschool locations (for early childhood position)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct screenings and evaluations for students turning 3 and those in grades K12
  • Lead, facilitate, and attend IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with general and special education partners
  • Ensure clear communication and family support throughout the special education process
