Overview
The Counseling Center of the North Shore is seeking a mid-career/seasoned psychotherapist (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT) to provide clinical supervision and mentoring to our talented early career staff therapists and masters level clinical interns. Candidates should have a desire to be part of a supportive clinical community committed therapies of depth, insight and relationship and to the ongoing growth of our staff therapists and interns through consultation groups and weekly individual supervision.
Aboutthe Counseling Center of the North Shore
The Counseling Center of the North Shore (CCNS) is a nonprofit agency located in Winnetka, IL. The CCNS clinical staff provide psychotherapy to clients across the lifespan regardless of their ability to pay. We offer a generous sliding scale fee that slides as low as $5 a session. CCNS has a rigorous masters level clinical internship program and provides mental health programming to mental health professionals and community groups.

- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
- Active Clinical IL license to practice as a LCSW, LCPC, LMFT or PhD.
- Minimum 5 years post-graduate of experience providing psychotherapy.
- Experience providing clinical supervision/consultation to pre-licensed clinicians or interns.
- Hold weekly individual clinical supervision for 3-5 CCNS staff therapists and interns
- Carry a small caseload of psychotherapy clients (negotiable)
- Attend/facilitate weekly group case consultation (Tuesdays 12-1pm)
- Attend supervisors consultation group once every two weeks
