Registered Nurse - ISCU - Per Diem

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80 – The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

  Registered Nurse – Infant Special Care Unit

• As needed
• Hours:
  
  1900‑0730 and 0700‑1930 with some weekends
• Float:
  Highland Park Nursery

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high‑quality patient experience.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of a National League of Nursing (NLN) accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred.
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required (from AHA).
• License:
  Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
• Experience:
  
  2+ years of current ISCU/NICU experience required.
• Unique or Preferred
  
  Skills:
  
  NICU/ISCU experience.
