Job Title: Breakfast Cook – Winnipeg Blue Bombers

Employment Type: Part-Time, up to 40 hours/week (Early Morning Shifts)

Position Overview:
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Breakfast Cook to join our stadium food service team at Princess Auto Stadium. In this role, you will prepare and serve fresh, high-quality breakfast items for stadium staff, players, media personnel, and early-arriving event guests.

Working in a fast-paced stadium environment, you will play an important role in helping power the team behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook breakfast menu items including eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast sandwiches, hash browns, pancakes, and breakfast burritos.
• Set up and maintain breakfast service stations before kitchen service begins.
• Ensure food is prepared consistently and according to quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized cooking area, including grills, prep stations, and kitchen equipment.
• Monitor food inventory during service and assist with restocking ingredients as needed.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures in accordance with Manitoba health regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the stadium culinary team to ensure efficient service on busy game days and event mornings.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a cook or breakfast cook preferred (restaurant, hotel, catering, or stadium environment).
• Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends, game days, and special events.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong attention to food quality and presentation.
• Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
• Food Handler Certification (or willing to acquire)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a busy stadium kitchen environment.
