Maintenance Worker, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic, Facility Maintenance

Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 3:30pm;
Friday 6:00am - 10:00am

Rate of Pay: $20.95 per hour

Today, we are seeking a new member to join the fastest growing flavoring company.

The Watkins Company has an opening for a Full Time, Maintenance Worker, located in our Winona, MN location. The duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

• Cleans designated areas, aisles, docks, and grounds; mows lawn; trims hedges; removes snow ; repairs pallets; paints and coats roof; secures buildings; helps recycle.
• Performs housekeeping and preventative maintenance functions to maintain GMP, EPA, and OSHA standards.
• Performs work utilizing electrical and mechanical material handling equipment, tractors, and small hand tools.
• Assists co-workers with other maintenance duties as directed; book checking; and arranging equipment in an orderly and logistical manner for access.
• Performs cleanup of outside grounds and work areas.
• Reports needed repair on equipment to Maintenance Lead and Maintenance Manager.

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED.
• Previous maintenance experience – preferred.
• Must have satisfactory results from flexibility and strength assessment examination.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the Watkins/Jacobs Management auto insurance.
• Demonstrate basic proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
