Pay & Shift Range
Pay or shift range: $15 USD to $18 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

The Food Service worker assists in the preparation and distribution of nutritional and appealing foods for our patients, residents, customers, fellow caregivers, and visitors. This position must be flexible to work in several positions with varied responsibilities. Must provide excellent customer service to those we serve. Works well with fellow caregivers to create a positive team environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Provides excellent customer service to all patients, residents, customers, and fellow caregivers.
- Anticipates the needs and wants of those we serve.
- Performs work duties within HACCP and MDH guidelines.
- Completes regulatory documentation as required.
- Stores food items at the proper temperature with proper labeling and dating information.
- Sanitizes work area at the end of the scheduled workday by completing the sanitation checklist.
- Uses commercial dishwashing equipment and other commercial food service equipment.
- Reads and understands the use of general clinical diet terms.
- Cash handling and use of the retail point-of-sale system.
- Prioritizes and organizes work efficiently to meet department timelines.
- Completes mandatory educational requirements of Winona Health caregivers.
- Understands, supports, and integrates the organization’s vision/mission/values.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Previous food service experience preferred.
