Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Supervision:
    • Lead, manage, and mentor the maintenance team, ensuring that team members are trained, motivated, and performing to the highest standards.
    • Develop and implement work schedules, allocate tasks, and monitor job performance.
    • Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the maintenance department.
  • Maintenance Management:
    • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure all equipment and systems are operating at peak efficiency.
    • Develop and manage a comprehensive equipment maintenance plan, minimizing downtime and extending asset life.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment failures, making necessary repairs or initiating corrective actions.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct safety audits and assessments, ensuring that all maintenance work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety standards.
    • Lead investigations into accidents or incidents related to maintenance activities, taking corrective actions as necessary.
  • Budget & Resource Management:
    • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including procurement of tools, parts, and supplies.
    • Track expenses and performance metrics to ensure cost-effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance practices and operations.
    • Implement new technologies, systems, and processes to improve maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment performance.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on maintenance activities, budget performance, and equipment condition.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead or support major maintenance projects, including equipment installations, upgrades, or facility expansions.
    • Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers for special maintenance or repair projects.
Experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proven experience in managing maintenance teams, budgets, and large-scale projects.
Skills
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • In‑depth knowledge of industrial equipment, maintenance practices, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency with maintenance management software (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights to improve maintenance operations.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, noise, dust, etc.).
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects, and work in confined spaces when necessary.
Work Schedule
  • Monday‑Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM; on‑call or weekend shifts may be required depending on operational needs.
