This janitorial position starts at 3pm and is 4 hours per day. Pay rate is $14.00 per hour.

Qualifications for position

• Must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in the janitorial cleaning industry.
• Must have good verbal and face to face communication.

We’re looking for porters who are flexible.

Job Duties are as following to Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; empty: refill restroom dispensers, clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established procedure. Etc.

Each Janitor assigned to this Contract shall have relevant work experience in working in a large office facility performing a similar type of work as being requested within the Scope of Services.

Operate chemical dispensing units properly measure chemicals that are not provided in dispenser form. Understand how to read MSDS sheets. Properly label chemicals. Wear proper PPE when working with chemicals/equipment.

Speak, read (understand) and write in a clear and understandable English language (for security reasons the Department must be able to clearly communicate with all Janitors, Day Matron(s), Day Porter(s), and all other employees assigned to this Contract).
