Overview

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring immediately for a full-time Warehouse Janitor in Orlando, Florida! The Warehouse Janitor plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient facility. This position supports a variety of janitorial needs within the warehouse, including cleaning common areas, maintaining restrooms, and regularly scrubbing warehouse floors with a ride‑on floor scrubber. The role helps ensure a clean and organized environment that supports a positive employee experience.

The Warehouse Janitor is also cross‑trained in general warehouse operations and may assist in different functional areas based on daily business needs.

Pay: $19-$20 / hour depending on experience.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6AM-3PM.

• Help keep restrooms and breakrooms clean, stocked, and welcoming.
• Maintain a tidy facility by removing trash and keeping floors swept, mopped, scrubbed, or vacuumed.
• Operate a ride‑on floor scrubber to support overall warehouse cleanliness.
• Report any repair needs to management to help keep the building running smoothly.
• Clean windows and glass surfaces to maintain a polished environment.
• Request cleaning supplies or equipment when needed.
• Follow safety procedures when using chemicals or power equipment.
• Support warehouse upkeep, including breaking down cardboard and managing waste.
• Participate in safety meetings, daily warm‑ups, and general compliance efforts.
• Assist with special projects and other tasks as needed.

• 18 years of age or older
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Previous janitorial experience preferred; priority consideration will be given to candidates with more and relevant experience
• Physically able to regularly lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift 50+ pounds.
• Able to operate a ride‑on floor scrubber and various janitorial equipment (e.g., broom, mop, vacuum).
• Must pass drug screening (does not include THC) as a condition of employment.
