Ocean Spray is hiring a Maintenance Technician at the Wisconsin Rapids Processing Plant. The plant sits on 70 acres and is 295,000 square feet and produces sweetened dried cranberries (Craisins). The maintenance technician position is a 12‑hour rotating shift from 4 pm to 4 am with rotating weekends off. Starting pay rate is $33.28 plus a shift differential of $1.25 per hour. The position is year‑round, working indoors with three 30‑minute paid breaks.

Responsible for the day‑to‑day maintenance activities within the team. Using principles of total quality management to execute preventive maintenance and repair equipment and actively participate in project development and training. Accountable for effective communication between management and the team to maximize maintenance engagement practices.
Job Responsibilities- Work includes, but is not limited to, troubleshooting complex equipment, reading and interpreting manuals and work orders, maintaining a clean, safe work environment, and active participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as maintenance in the service of equipment to ensure optimal performance; respond to equipment process concerns; prioritize work orders, PM/CM as needed.
- Adhere to schedules and operational procedures including safety precautions related to equipment and for performing assigned tasks. Take appropriate actions and make recommendations to ensure a safe working environment. Perform safety checks on equipment prior to the season of operations; perform regularly scheduled preventive maintenance; perform diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures.
- Participate in daily maintenance projects and tasks.
- Participate in preparatory meetings for maintenance day overhauls and cleans.
