Overview
The Fox Crossing Fire Department is creating an eligibility list for the position of Part‑Time Firefighter. Those hired will assist in providing coverage between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and around the clock on the weekends from Friday evening through Monday morning (12‑hour shifts). Applicants must work a minimum of four shifts per month.

- 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- State of Wisconsin Firefighter I certification
- State of Wisconsin Driver Operator – Pumper certification (desired)
- Current State of Wisconsin EMS First Responder Certification or higher
- Completion of NIMS 100, 200, and 700
All applicable certificates should be attached and submitted with the online application.
Hiring ProcessThe hiring process will include a physical abilities test, oral interview, skills assessment test, medical physical, drug test, and a pre-employment criminal background check.
