Pay starting at $11.60 per hour | Requires flexibility to work various shifts

Is responsible for providing a clean, friendly and enjoyable gaming experience for guests of the facility. Cleans and maintains the appearance of the casino, restrooms, offices, and other assigned areas.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

* Provides overall cleaning of the facility to ensure guest satisfaction.

* Provides general housekeeping including vacuuming, picking up trash, emptying wastebaskets, emptying and cleaning ashtrays, straightening chairs, and stocking supplies. Includes but is not limited to sweeping, scrubbing, stripping waxing and polishing floors, using brooms, mops and powered scrubbing and waxing machines.

* Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.

* Remove and haul to loading dock all trash from containers located throughout the facility, including recyclables.

* Operate and perform simple maintenance of all the powered Housekeeping equipment, e.g. change brushes, rollers, buffers and other attachments.

* Regularly checks restrooms for cleanliness and low supplies. Cleans and sanitize as needed.

* Performs minor repairs (replaces light bulbs), and reports repairs that need maintenance work.

* Assists Hotel Room Attendants with cleaning and minor repairs in the Hotel.

* Washes fixtures, windows and walls by hand, or with use of tools available.

* Assists Maintenance with event setups and takedowns, cleans up during and after events, moving heavy furniture, supplies and/or equipment.

* Operates motorized cleaning equipment.

* General cleaning/sanitizing of slot machine surfaces, clears trash and cigarette ashes from all areas on the gaming floor.

* Vacuums and cleans all gaming tables.

* Provides Grounds support including pest control, watering and maintaining trees, flowers, and shrubs, shoveling snow, and salting as needed.

* Assists Grounds with snow removal using motorized snow-removal equipment.

* Is aware of exposure to hazards and blood-spill cleanup procedures, and the special processes to handle clean up.

* Responsible for communication within the department as well as across departments to ensure that information is shared for effective operations.

* Maintains detailed knowledge of Casino and Hotel services and promotions.

* Works with department Managers for any special needs.

* All other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, or Facilities Director.

Job Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

* Training or experience in cleaning and performing minor repairs in a commercial building is preferred.

* Chemical Hazard and Blood-borne Pathogen Training is preferred.

* Knowledge of floor, carpet and cleaning chemicals helpful.

* The ability to uphold complete confidentiality is required.

* Must display constant professionalism when representing PCCH.

* Must work well with people, possess excellent guest service skills and sensitivity to diverse cultures.

* Must possess strong oral and written communications skills.

* The ability to maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations is necessary.
