Facility Maintenance Technician

The Gross Auto Group has been in business since 1956 and serves Wood, Clark, Marathon, and Jackson counties - as well as the surrounding areas.

We are adding a Facility Maintenance Technician to our Black River Falls, Wisconsin team.

We offer flexible hours and a 5 day work week. You would work Monday-Friday with infrequent need to support the dealership during the weekend. Outstanding pay plan with very generous incentives and multiple bonus opportunities. Opportunity for advancement and continuous training.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and preventative repairs and maintenance on the dealership’s physical facility and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Operate and maintain building systems such as:
    Pumps, Fans, Pneumatic controls, Pressure‑reducing valves, Compressors, Air filtration systems
  • Perform routine lot and lawn maintenance to include mowing and snow removal; ensure lot is safe for team members and customers
  • Complete miscellaneous tasks and errands for all dealership departments.
  • Maintain the physical appearance of the facility, including minor carpentry, painting, and general upkeep.
  • Support safety and compliance by ensuring equipment and systems operate properly.
  • Other jobs as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience in facility, building, or industrial maintenance; 2-4 years’ experience working in a maintenance position or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely.
  • Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Physical ability to lift, climb, bend, and work in various environments.
