Facilities Manager
The Facilities Manager works collaboratively with clinical, facilities and administrative staff to ensure that Access' facilities are safe, clean, functional and welcoming. This position will work with the Director of Facilities in strategic planning for the Facilities department. The Facilities Manager will supervise and work with the maintenance technician and maintenance assistant positions and actively oversee the effectiveness of key vendors.
The Facilities Manager position demonstrates a high level of customer service, communicates regularly with Access' leaders and routinely provides on-site support by working alongside the Facilities' staff. This position also ensures that Access' mobile dental program is adequately supported throughout the school year and whenever else the Celebrate Smiles Program may be active.
This position routinely uses technology to help support facilities-related work including maintenance requests, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) controls, security and fire detection. The Facilities Manager actively works with key vendors to ensure that after-hours contact lists are updated and tested for effectiveness on an ongoing basis. This position ensures that facilities-related work is prioritized and intersects well with Access' mission and strategic and operational plans.
Required Qualifications:- A minimum of three years of experience working with the maintenance of facilities and equipment within a health care setting
- A minimum of three years of experience with staff supervision and team leadership
- A minimum of three years of project management experience
- Proficient with MS Office applications, including Excel and Word, as well as electronic mail and internet applications
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with good driving record
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or completed apprenticeship in construction management, trades, business or related field
- A minimum of one year of experience with analyzing and summarizing information and communicating it in a user-friendly format for a variety of staff
- A minimum of three years of customer service experience
