Foundry Maintenance Supervisor

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, and the Senior Maintenance Supervisor the Foundry Maintenance Supervisor directs maintenance personnel in the foundry. Assumes the duties of Senior Maintenance Supervisor in his absence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Reviews work orders and ensures that work schedules are met.
• Organizes and assigns work.
• Supervises skilled and semi-skilled employees performing major repairs and preventive maintenance to buildings and equipment and grounds.
• Anticipates maintenance and personnel problems and resolves problems to minimize their effects on production.
• Makes sure safety issues are addressed and solved.
• Responsible for spare parts inventory.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities – The Foundry Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision of all maintenance personnel in the foundry.
