Maintenance Supervisor (FOOD)

Our Boyceville, Wisconsin facility is a core production hub and is currently undergoing exciting expansion as we scale to meet growing global demand.
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our operations team at our Boyceville facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing a team of maintenance technicians, driving reliability improvements, and ensuring our equipment and systems run at peak efficiency. As we grow and prepare for a new facility coming online in the next few years, this position will play an increasingly strategic role in how we support production operations across our sites.

Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership
- Supervise and coordinate daily work assignments for a team of maintenance technicians
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and development support to direct reports
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and skills gap identification for the maintenance team
- Lead execution of small to mid-size maintenance and improvement projects
Planning and Reliability
- Develop and manage detailed job plans, PM schedules, and technician routes within the CMMS
- Own the accuracy and continuous improvement of work order data within the maintenance management system
- Partner with operations and production scheduling to align maintenance windows with production downtime and changeovers
- Identify and prioritize maintenance requests from cross-functional teams
- Support long-range planning for equipment reliability, TPM initiatives, and forward-looking maintenance strategies
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure all maintenance work is planned and executed with safety as the top priority
- Enforce and integrate critical safety protocols including LOTO, arc flash, hot work, and confined space procedures
- Champion a strong safety culture across the maintenance team and broader plant floor
Cost and Resource Management
- Drive efficiency through smart resource allocation and maximizing internal capabilities before engaging outside contractors
- Collaborate with parts and inventory teams to maintain optimal stocking levels
- Support maintenance budget activities and cost tracking with the Maintenance Manager
- 5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience
- 3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience within a maintenance function
- Demonstrated proficiency using CMMS systems for work order management and planning
- Strong troubleshooting skills across both mechanical and electrical systems
- Solid working knowledge of safety protocols including LOTO, arc flash, confined space, and hot work
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Degree or diploma in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Experience in food manufacturing with knowledge of GMP and food safety standards
- Background in spray drying, powder processing, or similar specialty manufacturing environments
- Medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience (regulated manufacturing environment)
