Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor

Our client in Racine, WI is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations, drive equipment reliability, and support plant efficiency. This role oversees contractor management, CMMS work orders, and cross-functional coordination to ensure safe, cost-effective, and continuous plant performance.

Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the facilities/maintenance team, including coaching, scheduling, and performance management
  • Manage the contractor maintenance program and prioritize work orders through CMMS
  • Coordinate vendors and projects while ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards
  • Drive preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and downtime reduction
  • Partner with production, planning, and engineering to align priorities and improve efficiency
  • Support energy reduction, cost-saving initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Monitor EHS and food safety programs, ensuring compliance and corrective action follow-through
  • Assist with budgets, KPIs, and reporting

Requirements for Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor:

  • 3–5+ years in maintenance, facilities, or engineering (manufacturing environment preferred)
  • Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Leadership experience with teams, including coaching and development
  • Familiarity with CMMS, GMP, and 5S
  • Ability to analyze issues, prioritize effectively, and drive results
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • SAP or ERP experience a plus
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
