Location: Johnson Creek

Saelens Corporation, under its Diamond Precision brand, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations in our precision metal manufacturing facility. In this hands-on role, you will supervise technicians, oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, and drive equipment reliability to support high-quality production. You will coordinate repairs, manage work orders and parts inventory, and collaborate closely with engineering and production teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise maintenance technicians to ensure safe, reliable operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities
  • Plan, prioritize, and assign preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on production machinery and coordinate external vendors when needed
  • Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and parts inventory using CMMS or similar tools
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support process improvements and equipment upgrades
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and compliance with OSHA and company standards
  • Train and mentor team members on equipment, maintenance best practices, and continuous improvement methods
  • Monitor equipment performance, analyze recurring issues, and recommend long-term solutions

Required Skills

  • Preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Mechanical systems repair (motors, gearboxes, conveyors)
  • Basic industrial electrical and PLC troubleshooting
