Saelens Corporation, under its Diamond Precision brand, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations in our precision metal manufacturing facility. In this hands-on role, you will supervise technicians, oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, and drive equipment reliability to support high-quality production. You will coordinate repairs, manage work orders and parts inventory, and collaborate closely with engineering and production teams.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise maintenance technicians to ensure safe, reliable operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities
- Plan, prioritize, and assign preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on production machinery and coordinate external vendors when needed
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and parts inventory using CMMS or similar tools
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support process improvements and equipment upgrades
- Implement and enforce safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and compliance with OSHA and company standards
- Train and mentor team members on equipment, maintenance best practices, and continuous improvement methods
- Monitor equipment performance, analyze recurring issues, and recommend long-term solutions
Required Skills
- Preventive and predictive maintenance
- Mechanical systems repair (motors, gearboxes, conveyors)
- Basic industrial electrical and PLC troubleshooting
- Reading technical drawings and schematics
- Use of CMMS and maintenance documentation tools
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving
- Maintenance planning and scheduling
- Knowledge of OSHA and industrial safety standards
- Inventory and spare parts management
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methods
