Maintenance Supervisor

Uni First is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead equipment and facility maintenance in our manufacturing and uniform service plant. You'll plan and assign daily work for technicians, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on production and laundry equipment, and coordinate outside contractors as needed. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance scheduling, spare parts inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. You'll train and mentor team members, support continuous improvement initiatives, minimize downtime, and partner with operations to keep production running reliably and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of maintenance technicians in a manufacturing and uniform service facility
• Plan, schedule, and track preventive and corrective maintenance using CMMS tools
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on production and laundry equipment
• Coordinate and oversee outside contractors for specialized repairs or projects
• Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure critical components are available
• Enforce safety, environmental, and OSHA standards across all maintenance work
• Train, coach, and evaluate maintenance staff to support skill growth and performance
• Collaborate with operations to minimize downtime and support production goals
• Lead or support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
• Document maintenance work, equipment history, and compliance records
