Lutheran Social Services of WI & UP MI seeks a Maintenance Technician to support safe, reliable facilities for our behavioral health, housing, and social service programs. In this on-site role, you will perform routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues, respond to work orders and urgent requests, and assist with minor renovations and room setups. Working in a faith-inspired, inclusive, and trauma-informed culture, you will partner with program staff to minimize disruption to client services while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and grounds across LSS facilities
- Respond to work orders and urgent maintenance requests to ensure safe, functional environments for clients and staff
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues within scope of role
- Conduct safety inspections and document findings, repairs, and parts used in maintenance logs
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs or projects
- Assist with room setups, minor renovations, painting, and general facility improvements
- Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards in healthcare and residential settings
- Communicate effectively with program staff to minimize service disruption during maintenance work
- Maintain tools, supplies, and inventory; recommend replacements and improvements
- Support on call or after hours emergency maintenance coverage as assigned
