Agropur, a leading North American dairy cooperative, is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Manager for our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will lead a team maintaining high-speed dairy processing and packaging equipment, driving safety, reliability, and uptime. You'll own preventive and predictive programs, manage budgets and contractors, and partner with operations, quality, and engineering on continuous improvement and capital projects. Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance operations for a large dairy manufacturing facility, ensuring equipment reliability and uptime.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for processing and packaging equipment.
- Supervise, coach, and schedule maintenance technicians while promoting a strong safety culture.
- Coordinate maintenance projects, shutdowns, and contractor activities to minimize production disruptions.
- Manage maintenance budget, parts inventory, and vendor relationships to optimize costs.
- Collaborate with operations, quality, and engineering on process improvements and capital projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, food safety, and environmental standards in all maintenance activities.
- Monitor KPIs, analyze downtime data, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement CMMS best practices for work orders, asset management, and maintenance planning.
- Support training and development of the maintenance team on new technologies and standards.
