A Brief Overview

Provide maintenance support for company facilities, including Production, Quality, and R&D. Under general supervision, perform routine to moderately complex preventive maintenance and corrective repairs to help maintain safe and functional facilities

Position is not eligible for remote work.

What You Will Do
  • Corrective Maintenance:
    Perform routine to moderately complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other repairs to equipment and building systems. Escalate complex repairs and troubleshooting issues to a Maintenance Tech III or management. Identify and address routine safety hazards within the scope of the position and promptly report or escape complex safety concerns.
  • Preventative Maintenance:
    Perform assigned inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment and building systems in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Program Assistance:
    Assist Facilities, Engineering and R&D with equipment related projects by using skilled labor in performing key activities. Assist with maintaining equipment spare-parts inventory, including identifying low-stock or missing items. Follow approved maintenance procedures and communicate identified gaps or needed changes to a Maintenance Tech III or management. Accurately document and close assigned preventive and corrective maintenance work orders in the designated CMMS/SAP system.
  • On Call/Call Back Rotation of “On Call” duties for repair and maintenance of the equipment and facility items with other assigned staff. “Call Back” for maintenance related duties during off hours that cannot be adequately covered by the “On Call” person alone.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • equivalent trade school certification or enrollment.
  • 1-2 years Basic to intermediate knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related maintenance trades, with the ability to complete routine assignments and assist with moderately complex work.
  • 1-2 years Experience in facility, equipment, manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or related maintenance trades. Required
  • less than 1 year Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (GMP, pharmaceutical, medical device, food, or similar industry). Preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate of Engineering (A.E.) Associate degree or trade-school certification in automotive, industrial/electrical technology, facility/equipment maintenance, or a related field preferred.
  • Certified Stationary Engineering License.
Technical & Functional Skills
  • Basic to intermediate electrical and mechanical aptitude required.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and reliably.
  • Clear communications skills both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and proficient/accurate with documentation.
  • Works under general supervision and seeks guidance for unfamiliar, complex, or high-risk maintenance issues.
  • Proficient in the use of computers including use of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
  • Basic understanding of or experience using CMMS software preferred.
