- Hours:
7:00am - 3:00pm
Our client in Racine, WI is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations, drive equipment reliability, and support plant efficiency. This role oversees contractor management, CMMS work orders, and cross-functional coordination to ensure safe, cost-effective, and continuous plant performance.
Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor Responsibilities- Lead and support the facilities/maintenance team, including coaching, scheduling, and performance management
- Manage the contractor maintenance program and prioritize work orders through CMMS
- Coordinate vendors and projects while ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards
- Drive preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and downtime reduction
- Partner with production, planning, and engineering to align priorities and improve efficiency
- Support energy reduction, cost-saving initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
- Monitor EHS and food safety programs, ensuring compliance and corrective action follow-through
- Assist with budgets, KPIs, and reporting
- 3-5+ years in maintenance, facilities, or engineering (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills
- Leadership experience with teams, including coaching and development
- Familiarity with CMMS, GMP, and 5S
- Ability to analyze issues, prioritize effectively, and drive results
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- SAP or ERP experience a plus
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- Lead a critical function that directly impacts plant performance
- Work in a collaborative, improvement-focused environment
- Strong opportunities to influence safety, quality, and efficiency outcomes
