Maintenance Director
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Maintenance Director to join our team. As a Maintenance Director, you will play a vital role in ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our community, ensuring that our residents and staff have a safe and comfortable living and working environment. Responsibilities:- Oversight of all maintenance and repair activities, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
- Development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime
- Management of maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
- Coordinating repairs and maintenance with outside vendors and contractors
- Ensuring compliance with all safety codes, regulations, and company policies
- Managing inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure that maintenance and upkeep is aligned with the overall goals of the community
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for our residents and staff
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
- Experience in maintenance or a related field
- Knowledge of local and national building codes and regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks
