Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
The Maintenance Specialist role at Kennedy Industries requires excellent communication, teamwork, and rapport by working with machinists and mechanics in a team environment. This entry‑level position offers room for advancement. Under direct supervision, the candidate will learn and perform a variety of skilled duties that include sand blasting, coating, painting, and building maintenance. The candidate must be dependable, organized, have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a service‑oriented mindset.
The candidate must be competent in using machinery and follow all safety precautions.
- Interacting with customers upon equipment delivery
- Load and unloading of pumps
- Sandblasting, coating, power washing, and painting
- Building maintenance, snow maintenance and cleaning
- Work in a safe manner and maintain a safe/clean work area
- Learning machine operation and capabilities of multiple machines
- Conducting accurate inspections on product
- Move pumps and parts to their proper locations
- Conduct quality checks on products
- Minor machine maintenance
- Build and/or modify skids for pumps
- Operating overhead cranes and Hi‑Lo vehicles (training provided)
- Pickup and delivery
- Minimum age requirement of 18
- Willing to learn and be organized
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers and coworkers at all times
- Must be available to work occasional nights, holidays, and weekends

- Capable of lifting items up to 40lbs
