Environmental Services Technician I

• Maintain assigned areas in a clean and sanitary condition using techniques such as damp dusting, mopping, scouring, scrubbing, stripping, and polishing.
• Follow established protocols for safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ensure proper collection, handling, and disposal of waste per regulatory standards.
• Respond promptly to spills and urgent cleaning needs.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning and sanitation goals.
• Adhere to infection prevention standards and safety procedures.
• Provide excellent service to patients and staff in a team‑oriented environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No specific certification or licensure required.
• Experience in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to adapt to shift work and occasional weekend coverage.
