Responsibilities. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for ensuring an excellent experience for guests by coordinating the team to exceed expectations on every visit. The Shift Supervisor leads the team in prioritizing guest care, delighting them with friendly service that builds loyalty. The Shift Supervisor also ensures the team contributes to achieving A&W operating standards and financial results on their shift.

• Have proven exceptional guest service skills and know how to rally a team to deliver this to every guest on every visit.
• Enjoy mentoring people and naturally support staff in learning, including how to prepare food to standard recipes or customized for guests.

Physical Requirements.

• Stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
• Lifting heavy boxes up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Engaging in repetitive tasks such as preparing/assembling orders, products, and regular cleaning of the facility
• Maintain mental alertness for safety of self, co‑workers, and guests
• Maintain good personal hygiene and appropriate uniform
• Handle stressful situations
