Petroleum Delivery

REPORTS TO:

Energy Operations Manager SALARY RANGE: $25.00 - $30.00 / hour Purpose And Summary Statement

Provides energy product deliveries and services to customers. Assists with resolving customer complaints in accordance with the company policies and procedures.

Essential Job Functions
  • Delivers all energy products utilizing a single or tandem axle truck and performs work related to the propane, petroleum, lubricant, and service areas.
  • Delivers to farm, home, and commercial customer accounts.
  • Safely handles all energy products at all times.
  • Ensures tank installations and service work are made to customer requirements; performs tank maintenance as needed per Conserv FS requirements on customer tanks.
  • Completes technical and product training to stay up-to-date and knowledgeable of product changes.
  • Reports all complaints to supervisor and utilizes appropriate procedures in handling complaints.
  • Assists with inventory, ensuring it is done correctly, on time, and sent to the main office.
  • Takes necessary steps to control/manage shrink.
  • Inspects truck and bulk plant on a regular basis and ensures timely repair.
Other Job Functions
  • Displays good judgment, positive attitude, and enthusiasm in dealing with customers and fellow employees.
  • Maintains a good working knowledge of and utilizes applicable company computer programs such as wEBS, FBS, and email.
  • Supports and contributes to total company goals and objectives through collaboration efforts.
  • Responsible for maintaining the assigned vehicle according to company standards, adhering to the uniform policy, and maintaining the appropriate professional image.
  • Follows ConservFS’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies and procedures as they apply.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Normally requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to demonstrate strong reasoning ability to solve practical problems and handle customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Must have and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
  • Class A preferred.
  • Will be required to travel independently and work self-directed.

  • Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.)
  • Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures.
