Housekeepers/Environmental Services Associates

NECIC Staffing is currently hiring dependable and detail-oriented Housekeepers/Environmental Services Associates to join a professional cleaning team. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for employees, customers, residents, guests, and visitors. Job Responsibilities As a Housekeeper/Environmental Services Associate, you will:

• Clean assigned work areas according to established schedules and company standards.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors, furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, showers, tubs, and other restroom fixtures.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
• Restock paper products, soap, towels, and other restroom and cleaning supplies.
• Clean offices, break rooms, hallways, common areas, windows, doors, and other assigned spaces.
• Make beds, change linens, and replace towels when required by the worksite.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, buffers, and other housekeeping tools.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, storage areas, and cleaning supplies in an organized manner.
• Follow all chemical handling procedures and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, safety concerns, and supply shortages to your supervisor.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects, seasonal cleaning, and other special assignments.
• Turn in lost and found items according to company policy.
• Assist with training new team members when requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is helpful but not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working in occupied facilities.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals while following all safety procedures.

Work Environment Work is performed in a variety of settings including:

• Hospitality environments
• Manufacturing facilities
• Other client locations
