Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Overview

We are hiring immediately full‑time and part‑time Housekeeper positions at THC St. Vincent's Hospital, Worcester, MA. Online applications only.

Schedule:

Variable full‑time or part‑time shifts. Hours and days may vary; details provided during interview.

Requirement:
No experience necessary; willing to train.

Pay: $15.00 per hour (fixed).

Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments, including hospitals, in a clean and orderly manner. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers.
• Disposes of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes up beds and changes linens as required.
• Realigns furniture and amenities according to layout.
• Responds to guest queries and requests.
• Responds to calls for housekeeping problems (spills, broken glasses).
• Contributes to team efforts; exhibits professionalism with customers, colleagues and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
